I am the Creator & Founder of the "Mallorca Under the Sun" Youtube channel, website, and social media platforms which promote Mallorca positively, create community and assist with holiday planning to Mallorca (Majorca) Spain.

I write, script, edit and produce all copy and content for both the Youtube channel and website, plus I have released a book on Kindle entitled "Living in Mallorca Under the Sun." I also write all copy for my website that is fully optimised for SEO.

Mallorca Under the Sun is the largest Youtube channel promoting Mallora positively to an engaged, global English-speaking audience. With more than 1 million views gained between May 2022 and October 2022, attracting almost 200,000 views per month during August, Mallorca Under the Sun is accompanied by a website (mallorcaunderthesun.com) and an active Facebook Group.

I also offer marketing consultancy services and work as a freelance reporter for the Majorca Daily Bulletin in Spain. I have also worked freelance for businesses in Mallorca providing marketing services to the real estate and private investor sectors.

I also have extensive experience in the travel and tourism sector, having worked as Head of Public Relations for Hotelopia and easyjet hotels, and then UK Marketing manager for the Hotelbeds and Bedsonline brands. I have also written for airline magazines and freelance for travel in the national and regional press.

Since the launch of my Youtube channel, I have also been asked to voice radio adverts for businesses for Radio One Mallorca, an English-speaking radio station.

    Responsible for online and offline B2B marketing campaigns for both Hotelbeds and Bedsonline accommodation brands, copy-writing, their implementation and evaluation and use of the Marketo email marketing programme. My role included developing and implementing our B2B and B2C partnership marketing programme 'Marketing Solutions' which is sold to external clients (hotel chains and tourism boards) who wish to advertise on our websites and through our channels. This includes training sourcing staff to sell space via webinars, creating marketing proposals for sales managers, as well as managing, planning and implementing holistic campaigns and reporting on their success using Google Analytics. My role also included the management of the digital and print brochures in the Star Collection portfolio from content to layout and managing advertising space. Previously, I provided cover for the Regional Marketing Manager role for the Bedsonline brand (Europe) for 4-months, annually for 4-years managing and implementing marketing activity targeting travel agents for key European markets including the UK, Spain, France, Germany, Holland, Portugal, Czech Republic and Poland. This involved the creation and implementation of country focused incentive programmes, promotion of key product and offline/online advertising. During this time, I also organised inbound FAM (familiarisation) trips with the 'Palma de Mallorca 365' tourism board inviting travel agents from Bedsonline UK and Bedsonline Germany to Mallorca. My role has also included the creation of offline marketing material (brochures, flyers, destination guides) to meet tight deadlines on a global scale and in multiple languages. I work with marketing colleagues, sales managers, design teams and translators and now content and social media teams across departments in the Hotelbeds Head Office and worldwide, for accommodation and auxiliary revenue brands.
