Having spent 22 years in the RAF as an aircraft engineer, I have worked extensively in the areas of compliance, air safety and the delivery of Human Factors training and I am now freelance. I now primarily consult for Atlantic Campaigns as Safety Officer and Fleet Manager for the annual trans atlantic rowing race and have developed plans and rule sets for the inaugural Pacific event in 2023, also assisting in the event management and logistics of the event. Looking after up to 43 teams of 1 to 5 crew in both their preparation for the event and proving safety cover and crisis ops management while at sea. I am pragmatic, detail driven and self reliant, I can operate alone or as a strong team member and am happy to take the lead when required. I can travel internationally and am able to work in both urban or more austere environments.
I feel my strengths lie in my ability to make short term positive impact on a team or business, helping to define and acknowledge the aims and targets of all involved and establishing a framework for their achievment agreeable to all parties.
I also hold a GVC and own a range of high quality drones suitable for site survey and inspection work.
