I am a qualified copywriter and proofreader who has been working freelance for the last year; however, I also have extensive academic and professional writing experience. When working in criminal defence, defence case statements, mitigation statements and briefs to counsel had to be written in a concise, informative and persuasive manner to best serve my client's interests.
My reports also required the same tone as an in-house underwriter; in both cases, meeting deadlines was paramount. Academically, I have a bachelor's and master's degree in mostly essay-based subjects, covering a wide range of subjects. My research and writing skills are at a post-graduate level.
Since working as a freelance copywriter, I have primarily written articles for an industry magazine, social media posts and website copy for an Italian company that manufactures glass furnaces. Additionally, writing copy and proofreading documents for trade conferences.
