Katie in a few words
I am a diligent and highly motivated project manager with excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities. I have experience in a variety of regional, national and international communications environments, including production, post-production, advertising, and international organisations.

My career prior to moving to France was in advertising. I have worked extensively in developing visual branding and content across various media platforms with key international clients such as Yamaha, Adidas, Canon, Tommy Hilfiger and ING.

For nearly ten years, I have worked for various international organisations. I have developed editorial skills as well as expanded my technical knowledge of the Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative suites. I formatted and reviewed publications, created guidelines for authors and disseminated products via different platforms. I know how to use content management systems, and also have experience in preparing social media impact reports.

I have worked in intensely stressful environments, requiring skillful diplomacy, and endeavouring to bring a calm presence and perspective to those situations. I have negotiated and steered projects and issues involving many different internal and external stakeholders, emphasising a cooperative and collaborative approach. Although I thrive working in a team, I am no less efficient or capable working as an individual, relying on my initiative and diligence. My strength is anticipating the needs of a project and, above all, getting the job done on time and on budget. I relish the challenge of taking complex or subtle messages and distilling them into concise, impactful communications.
