This includes, in particular, the setup and adoption of MS Teams and Skype, working in hand with HR and other relevant stakeholders.
- Leicestershire County CouncilCommunications SpecialistAugust 2019 - February 2020 (6 months)Leicester, UKSummary of the role;●Leading a variety of communication campaigns aimed at enhancing the council's interaction with its employees and the communities it serves.●My primary role at the council was to increase engagement with prospective job seekers in Leicestershire by delivering a new look and feel to the careers section of the website. This included producing new visual and written content that helped engagement and created a better user journey.●Changing the look and feel of the intranet (used by over 5000 employees), and improving the levels of interaction with staff.●Writing the guidelines on how best the council uses Yammer and other interactive platforms to create the desired level of interaction. I partnered with Microsoft on this project.●Working with human resources to enhance the external candidate experience as well as delivering engagement strategies to respond to the latest staff survey, identifying the key areas of focus as well as the short and mid-term actions that would help to maintain the confidence of staff.●Delivering key crisis communications to relevant audiences on issues such as broadband infrastructure and the Leicestershire floods.●Helping to deliver major projects in partnership with Public Health England on issues such as stopping smoking, mental health and moving more.
