Over the past several years, I’ve worked across industries like finance, energy, and pharma, where I’ve designed and modernized systems—from robust enterprise applications to cloud-native microservices.

I thrive when tackling complex challenges: whether it’s modernizing legacy systems, implementing event-driven architectures, or designing scalable, resilient services using AWS and Azure. I’ve worked extensively with telemetry technologies like RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS, and built systems grounded in Domain-Driven Design, SOLID principles, and clean architecture. Project:
Worked at the intersection of OT and IT to transform industrial and production data into actionable insights for maintenance teams. Contributed to the modernization of an OEE platform and supporting systems, improving system reliability, real-time capabilities, and data visibility across the area.

Tasks:
• Refactored a large-scale OEE codebase in Lua, applying OOP, SOLID, and ACID principles to enhance maintainability, scalability, and performance
• Led the migration of a JSON-driven UI to a modern Blazor Server application (.NET 10), implementing WebSockets, SignalR, and REST APIs for real-time communication
• Designed and maintained Power BI reporting for the entire area, supporting weekly operational meetings and enabling clear tracking of request progress

GrowIn is a Portugal-based IT consultancy firm specialized in nearshore software development, digital transformation and AI services for large enterprises.

Project:
Migrated, developed, and expanded services for Engie in the areas of Forecasting and Contracts, supporting future hedge operations and inter-team contract management. Modernized legacy systems by migrating from .NET Framework 4.7.2 to .NET 8, utilizing Dapper, REST APIs, and State Machines.

Tasks:
• Fully decommissioned a large legacy application in a time span of one and a half year
• Expanded and structured the main application with new features and capabilities
• Improved SonarQube code coverage by using NUnit and Bugs/Code Smells by refactoring and restructuring the code
• Created numerous new endpoints and a range of State Machines
• Co-led the team in infrastructure decisions such as the usage of: Design Patterns, DDD, cache and Kubernetes.

Collaborated with the Harro Höfliger team to develop libraries on top of a microservice-based "kernel" for their Human-Machine Interface (HMI) platform. Led a team of three developers in creating C# and Angular libraries that enabled charting functionality within applications built on the kernel. Focused on delivering plug-and-play solutions, distributed through NuGet and npm packages.

Tasks:
• Lead the team in designing the client solution while mentoring individual developers to achieve excellence and foster continuous growth
• Designed, developed, and integrated a charting solution while maintaining the existing project infrastructure.
