Jose Pedro Machado

I hold a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Aveiro and began my career as a Software Developer, where I spent six years building a strong technical foundation. Over the past sixteen years, I have progressed into leadership roles including Project Manager, Program Manager, Delivery Manager, Product Manager, and have also led Project Management Office (PMO) implementations.

Throughout my career, I have managed complex, large-scale initiatives across multiple industries, including Telecommunications, Airlines, Energy, Retail, and both Public and Private sectors, primarily within IT consulting environments. My international experience spans the United States, South Africa, Romania, Hungary, and the Czech Republic, where I have successfully led multicultural teams and stakeholders across different geographies.

I am Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and hold a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance, complemented by an English C1 Advanced level certification from the EF Standard English Test.

Some highlights of my experience include:

Managing the delivery and financial performance of a €4.5M project, reporting directly to executive leadership;

Leading the recovery of complex, troubled projects across up to 6 countries and 3 continents, coordinating up to 50 stakeholders in multilingual environments (Portuguese, English, and Spanish);

Defining and implementing a Team as a Service (TaaS) model, covering commercial strategy, financial modeling, delivery methodology, and resource management;

Leading proposal development for public and private sector opportunities, with bids up to €1.5M;

•

Driving the definition and end-to-end development of a sustainability-focused product (GoGreenCorp), supporting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies aligned with ESG frameworks, ESRS standards, (...)
