Andrea Coifman

My career path has always been very diverse, both technically and geographically speaking. I have a bacherlor's in engineering from Madrid and a master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Denmark. I started my career working as a Computer Vision intern at Bang & Olufsen and then I continued to grow within the same line of products as a Software Engineer/Data Scientist, also for a Danish company called Jabra. At Jabra I realized that I was not only interested in data, but all the aspects surrounding Data Science and Artificial Intelligence so I moved to a Business Intelligence company, which has a bigger focused on those areas. That's when I joined Qlik as a Machine Learning Software Engineer Team Lead for their Advanced Analytics team. I developed there most of my current skills, I had the opportunity to integrate the first AI-based features that QlikSense had, and it was through a combination of Software Engineering skills and AI. I was working in Sweden. After that, I decided to move to Lithuania and since then I have been covering a Senior Data Scientist (Lead) position, where I also started getting more passionated about Leadership.
