I specialize in Java / Spring Boot microservices, distributed systems, and complex backend integrations. A significant part of my career has been in medical imaging, where I spent 7+ years designing DICOM-based platforms — including a distributed data acquisition network deployed across 180+ medical centers in Europe for Affidea. I am also a published IEEE author in digital pathology.

At MSPOS GmbH (2017–present), I design and implement key subsystems of a cloud-based POS platform operating across multiple EU countries, including analytics & reporting, payment integrations (Adyen, Viva, Pepper), and fiscalization modules (Germany, Austria, France). I have also delivered ERP integrations (Microsoft Navision) and led multi-country retail rollouts as a technical project lead.

Earlier, I worked on enterprise ECM systems at SingularLogic (COSMOTE portal) and contributed to EU healthcare research at ICS-FORTH. I also co-founded Destination Crete (#1–#2 travel portal, 2012–2018), leading its architecture, development, and product design end-to-end.

In recent years, I have incorporated AI-assisted development workflows (LLMs), focusing on structured context, specification-driven development, and high-quality code generation while maintaining full ownership of system design and delivery.
