Telematics & IoT ecosystemen – Ik bouwde complete telematicasystemen from scratch, inclusief hardware selectie, data pipelines, en installatiebeheer. Van vehicle trackers tot dashcams, ik zorg dat alles naadloos integreert.

Full-stack development met een voorkeur voor efficiëntie – Python/FastAPI backends, React frontends, serverless architecturen op AWS. Ik krijg een kick van elegante, ultra-schaalbare oplossingen die gewoon blijven draaien.

Elektrisch ontwerp & praktische implementatie – Van PLC-programmering tot elektromechanisch ontwerp. Ik snap niet alleen de code, maar ook wat er onder de motorkap gebeurt.

Mijn werkstijl:

Breed interessegebied (automotive, sport, IoT, elektromechanica), scherpe focus op uitvoering. Ik spring even gemakkelijk in een backend refactor als in het opzetten van een ERP-systeem en blootleggen van processen of het troubleshooten van hardware in het veld.

    As a full-stack Telematics Solutions Engineer, I am building the next version
    of Toecan Coach, a solution that connects detailed driving behaviour analysis
    and coaching with vehicle insurance handling.

    My work spans the entire telematics pipeline — from choosing the right
    hardware for capturing both video and in-vehicle data, integrating it into our
    system, processing and analyzing the data, all the way to visualizing it in a
    meaningful way.

    On the technical side, I am building both the backend (Python with FastAPI)
    and the frontend (React), following serverless principles on AWS to keep
    things efficient and scalable. I also work on Toecan Bike — a project bringing
    similar telematics capabilities to bikes — where I’ve handled hardware
    selection and built the backend from scratch.

    Outside of development, I manage the installer side of things: creating
    installation processes, writing instructions, and making sure everything meets
    our quality standards.
