I am an entrepreneurial manager with 14+ years of experience.

I'm good at driving processes with a strong creative and innovative side. I enjoy transforming problems and ideas into realistic plans and solutions. That includes observing, listening, analysing, challenging, structuring and, most importantly, chatting with people and teams to see how we can build a good solution together.

I'm a rather quiet and respectful person, with a focus on efficient collaboration. Down to earth, I prefer realistic and to the point approach more than dreams and blabla. Still that should not prevent to think out of the box and to take risk. I am comfortable in changing environments and in green fields.

Despite my business background, I am a rather nerdy person; IT is my second home and developers are usually among my favourite colleagues.

I have specific knowledge of the hospitaly/retail, telecom, banking and construction industries but I am always curious about other sectors.

My experience encompasses both mature and emerging markets, B2C and B2B.

Out of work, you'll probably find me in the kitchen, cooking, or shopping for food and tasting wine. If not there, check on my bike!

My client was facing the legal obligation to prevent abnormal financial transaction to enter or exit its systems. After several workshops, all the needs and technical challenges were revealed but also the many potential changes in processes.
From there, I designed (functional and technical architecture) an ambitious custom solutions to monitor transactions traffic and detect transactions with abnormal or illegal characteristics (money laundering, terrorist financing,…), to handle transactions input and documentation in branches and at headquarter, to manage incidents and claims. I then managed the development of this solution in Agile.
Project includes data collection and standardization from different sources, data analysis, decision workflow management, web interface for business users and complex access right management.

The public service of the Brussels region was looking for a better way to manage the reporting of their operational and strategic objectives. In fact, not only the reporting was a problem, but also the input and standardisation. After a couple of intense workshops a new solution was designed to fully handle the input of objectives and reporting and comply with the different additional requirements detected during the analysis (translations management, access rights, flexibility,…). A roadmap was created to distinct the most urgent from the less urgent and a brand new application was developed from there. The application includes input and display of objectives at different level, hierarchies management, granular access right management, graphical reporting inside the app (charts) and export of .doc reports, language and content translation management.
