I'm a Product Sustainability Strategy consultant with a background in engineering and over a decade of hands-on consulting experience. I support OEMs that develop complex physical products in understanding their sustainability challenges, defining meaningful goals, and building practical strategies that lead to measurable improvement.

Many of the organisations I work with haven't yet established a clear product sustainability strategy, or need to further develop a current version. I help them identify where to focus, whether that's Scope 3 emissions, circularity, material impacts, or something else entirely, and guide them from defining their ambitions to implementation. This might involve exploring the key relevant environmental topics, setting impact criteria & metrics, embedding sustainability into product development, or aligning cross-functional teams around a shared direction.

I'm often brought in by sustainability leads or product owners who want to lead in product sustainability but aren't sure where to begin. I bridge the gap between sustainability goals, technical constraints, and commercial priorities, working across teams to ensure sustainability makes sense at every level. I particularly enjoy facilitating conversations between technical or operations teams and business owners, helping to resolve the tensions that often arise around these complex challenges.

I'm known for bringing clarity to complexity, asking the right questions, and creating communication assets that help teams engage with the bigger picture. Based in the Netherlands, I work independently through my business, Hypha Insight.
