My career has been built on taking complex, technical subject matter and communicating it effectively, across multiple channels to audiences worldwide.
For the past three years I have helped lead the global editorial strategy for ZF Commercial Vehicle Solutions, one of the world's leading automotive suppliers. The subject matter was highly technical — I know more than I should about a hydrogen recirculation blower — but I came to the role without an automotive background. What I brought was the ability to get inside a complex domain quickly, the editorial judgement to identify what mattered, and the writing and communications skills to convey complex material in a compelling way.
Prior to ZF, I spent eleven years at FedEx Express Europe leading pan-European employee communications through major organisational changes, and before that, media relations and crisis communications at Network Rail in London, including steering the communications response to a nationally sensitive rail strike.
