This led to numerous investment-related projects for a wide range of enterprises, across building materials, engineering supplies and logistics, drinks, apparel and more.

Identifying the key business drivers, understanding where they can take things and then confirming how it will all be made to happen is a demanding but indispensable process in any investment project. This has proved true during more than a decade of experience focused on the hunt for investment funding from banks, PE, VCs, U/HNWIs and family offices in the UK and overseas.

The search for investment funding can be for start-up, consolidation, growth, or sometimes salvation, but it always requires thorough situational analysis, strategic vision and detailed understanding of the numbers. Combining the capacity to see the big strategic picture, whilst understanding the detailed financial implications and consequences of any proposed change, has been vital.

In a recent project, a new job title was suggested, Chief Persistence Officer, whilst involvement in the immediate and results-oriented arena of sport, as a coach and a manager, gives a very different perspective and is a great outlet for competitive instincts and considerable energy!
