As a software contractor at Toyota, I was responsible for developing and maintaining a cloud-native middleware system used by the sales department to manage and process lead data from various sources. My work involved designing and deploying a scalable cloud stack on AWS, implementing serverless functions using AWS Lambda, and building RESTful APIs with Node.js.

I integrated the middleware with external CRM platforms, including Salesforce, ensuring reliable data flow between systems. I also leveraged AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, and SNS, and set up end-to-end monitoring and alerting using Datadog to maintain performance and availability.

This role required close collaboration with cross-functional teams, rapid issue resolution, and continuous delivery of enhancements to support Toyota's lead management operations across Europe.

At Takwinland, a tech startup, I served as the lead developer and primary software architect, overseeing the end-to-end design and implementation of the platform’s microservices-based architecture. Starting as a full-stack developer using the MEAN stack, I was deeply involved in every layer of the project—from frontend interfaces to backend services, infrastructure, deployment automation, and security.

I designed and managed the platform’s on-premise infrastructure, set up CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, and ensured system scalability, resilience, and maintainability. I implemented key services using Node.js, Docker, Redis, and MongoDB, and enforced best practices across development and operations.

My responsibilities also included DevOps and SecOps, where I established robust security protocols and deployment strategies. As the technical lead, I played a central role in decision-making, mentoring junior developers, and driving the overall technical direction of the product.

I provided end-to-end technical expertise for a range of clients across Belgium, including government institutions and private enterprises. My work focused on designing and delivering proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions tailored to client needs—often used as demos for stakeholder validation and business development.

Projects included HR management systems, VoIP communication platforms, and various domain-specific applications. I was responsible for translating business requirements into functional prototypes, advising clients on technical feasibility, and ensuring scalable, secure architectures.

This consultancy role demanded strong communication skills, rapid prototyping ability, and a broad technical skill set to support diverse and evolving client challenges.
