Erika Casajoana Daunert

I am a Brussels-based business development consultant with over two decades of international experience.

Certified as an Export Manager, I have made a deliberate pivot toward international trade—an area I have long engaged with indirectly through my advisory work. I have advised companies, public institutions, and European organizations on public affairs, media strategy, and political positioning—always with a strong focus on cross-border dynamics and long-term relations.

Since 2005, I have worked as an independent consultant, designing and delivering training programs in public affairs and media relations across Europe and beyond. This role has allowed me to travel extensively across four continents, adapt quickly to diverse business cultures, and communicate effectively with stakeholders operating in complex, multilingual environments. My academic teaching activities in Barcelona—on topics such as lobbying and agenda-setting—have further strengthened my ability to anticipate trends, craft persuasive strategies, and translate high-level objectives into tangible actions.

I have served as Deputy Representative of the Government of Catalonia to the EU, where I led a team of 15 professionals in one of the most active regional offices in Brussels. I collaborated closely with exporting companies across sectors—supporting their outreach to EU institutions and Benelux markets.

In 2025, I joined KIKLEGAL, a legal tech start-up based in Brussels, as part of their international development team. Focusing on the Spanish-speaking market, I helped identify business opportunities, especially in the Spanish market.

Fluent in English, French, German, Spanish and Catalan, I also have a working knowledge of Dutch, I bring both linguistic range and cultural sensitivity to client engagement. I am fully available to travel regularly to support client relations, attend trade events, and explore new market potential.
