Fédia Mattarelli

In the framework of the SESAR Deployment Alliance, I had been working with Fedia from 2015 to 2022. In particular, when I became General Manager, I have appointed Fedia as Senior Legal Officer reporting directly to me. Also, since January 2022, Fedia took in addition the role of HR and Procurement Manager. The SESAR Deployment Alliance being a not for profit international association partly funded by EU grant (about €1.3B over last 7 years), the deep knowledge and practical experience Fedia has of the EU institutions (relevant regulations, funding mechanisms, eligibility criteria, audits, personal network) has been key in ensuring successful achievements of our objective – modernising Europe’s Air Traffic Management – within the boundaries of our complex legal and financial environment. Fedia is well structured, autonomous, open minded and solutions oriented. He is also proactive and loyal to his team/company/customer. During the past few months, Fedia has successfully achieved the new challenges raised by his additional managerial position in charge of HR and procurement, 2 areas with a wide legal dimension.
