Over the past decade, I’ve moved fluidly between engineering, product, and AI, designing systems that make technology feel more human and interactive. Over the last 5 years, that meant working with generative models and structured conversation frameworks, tools that help people explore and understand data intuitively. From trading Co-pilot, which turns trade intelligence into dialogue, to Mass, a platform that simulates diverse human feedback at scale, I build products that don’t just automate, they listen, learn, and respond.

I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with some of the best teams in technology, such as Kpler, Google (YouTube), Whereby, IBM, Air New Zealand, News UK, Tesco, and a roster of international agencies, building everything from scalable multi-platform applications to bespoke CMS platforms, e-commerce ecosystems, and sleek mobile apps. My now bridges product, engineering, and insight, transforming complex datasets into tools for decision-making across finance, maritime intelligence, and consumer research.

○ Leading a new team focused on maritime commodities insight reporting and editorial publishing, utilising a mix of traditional headless content management, AI and data insight.. ○ Led the conception and rollout of Kpler's AI Co-pilot, an intelligent, conversational interface integrated into the Terminal application, to transform data interaction from manual navigation to natural language queries. This feature has enhanced user efficiency, reduced cognitive load, and lowered the barrier to entry for both expert and casual users. It introduced structured, generative UI components (e.g., interactive tables, timelines, charts) powered by a schema-driven predictive engine, laying a foundation for scalable AI capabilities across the Kpler platform. ○ Design and development of the Insight Signals product, an AI event summarisation and tracking solution for the latest Insight news and events. ○ Championing internal training initiatives and workshops, ensuring seamless onboarding for staff and robust cross-functional communication to support AI feature adoption and iterative feedback. ○ Bi-weekly AI newsletter to the product and engineering team on news, development and Kpler product updates. ○ Building editorial AI agents for Insight reports along with Strapi workflows and visual agentic frameworks.

Senior Developer - Cargo Analytics

○ Initially, senior development and implementation of client-facing Cargo Analytics data solutions for global maritime commodities and traffic. Focused on providing reporting through front-end, API and SDKs to enable customers to integrate into their workflows. Focused on Vue.js, TypeScript, and internal Node.js GraphQL API. ○ Designing, implementing, and improving the front-end UI with customisation models for analysts, including transitioning the cargo analytics team from the internal D3 implementations to Highcharts.

○ Learning and implementing Scala for the development of client-facing APIs. ○ Given several talks to the engineering team, one on artificial intelligence implementation, UX and dataset summary analysis, and more recently writing articles on gen UI and LLM benchmarking for insight reporting. ○ Helping the web experience team lead the initiative to enhance the front-end architecture, restructuring the application for better maintainability and Vue best practices.
