My name is James Smithyes. A graduate with a BSc in Geography, I began my career in Warehouse Management before finding a passion for training and learning in a range of different industries and services.

I now have over 20 years experience in this field having worked in both the private and public sectors in a range of industries including the railways, contact centres and more recently having designed and delivered outstanding programmes for leaders in health and social care in both the charity and local government sectors. I have a large portfolio of experience, combined with a style of learning that focuses on the 'what, so what and how?' to give delegates practical tools to apply in the workplace and empower them to become compassionate, empathetic and confident leaders in today's challenging workplaces.
