About Jessica
I'm Jessica, a digital designer and illustrator from London with over a decade of experience of working in the creative industry. Following my life-long love of creating art, I have built a strong skillset enabling me to work freelance as a designer. I create digital designs, websites, POS, branding, corporate reports, infographics, print ready artwork, packaging and bespoke illustration projects.
My background as a freelance costume illustrator in the film industry, has given me the experience and skills needed to execute briefs to the highest professional standards. In 2019 I retrained as a graphic designer at Shillington college and have since worked agency and in-house as a designer and illustrator. Life as a graphic designer has been a natrual fit for me, as I have an eye for detail and a solid understanding of art and design principles.
As a professional, I have high standards of each project I work on and take great pride in all my designs. Communication and clarity on each brief is the key to working successfully and harmoniously. My design school has taught me the best in-depth methods of approaching each project with research, moodboards and discussing themes for each key concept/ deliverables. I can work autonymously or as part of a team. I have confidence liasing with people to get the information needed and also to deliever and sell concepts/ creative solutions to clients. It almost goes without saying in this industry that I have experience working to tight deadlines and welcome constructive feedback. I am continually pushing the boundaries of my creativity, and am currently studying motion graphics at the School of Motion. It's a skill I will be able to bring to your projects while working freelance and bring a new and game changing dimension to my design work.
