Kate Hitchman

I'm an open minded, positive, caring, and strong-willed go jetter! I have worked in an assortment of roles within the events industry since I graduated from university. I was elected as student vice president of activities and events, which gave me my passion for education and change, and after a little more travelling the world I landed myself in an events role at one of the prestigious University of Oxford colleges. The colleges gave me my induction into creating seamlessly run events for high profile figures in the community, and harnessing my ability to keep calm under pressure. Having assisted with the organisation of events at two incredible venues I made the move to work for a not-for-profit and planning events from start to finish, which is where I have grown the most and enhanced my content marketing, data analysis and digital skills in particular. Having recently been promoted to Events and Digital Manager to take leadership of a new system covering event management, CRM database, membership management and finance. I am able to learn systems quickly, I am adept with training others and I have a strong desire to be outstanding.
