I love Kubernetes, run my own infrastructure for my own projects, and can recommend low-effort solutions if you don't need/want to have a separate operations team.
- Building data-intensive applications and optimizing existing data systems. I'm good with SQL, Spark, Airflow, Pandas, and worked with a variety of big data systems over the years: Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Foundry, etc.

The system also has a functionality for automatic setup of development environments, which allowed data scientists in particular share their results as they were becoming available and work closely with non-tech stakeholders.- Using graphical design from an external contractor, I implemented and load tested the landing page of the company that successfully handled spikes in traffic when the startup went out of stealth.- Implemented an internal system for managing incoming leads and automating various acquisition process steps.
- AklamioHead of DataTECHSeptember 2020 - March 2022 (1 year and 6 months)Berlin, GermanyAs a head of data, I hired & trained a team of a product manager, 2 data engineers, 3 data analysts, and 1 BI analyst. Established culture of autonomy & ownership in the team.Designed & implemented the first version of a new data app with Streamlit-based dashboards, to allow for continuous maintenance & development of those dashboards by data analysts.Together with the data engineers, designed and introduced proper test / staging environments, CI/CD, and refactored the system to a monorepo containerized service oriented solution.Introduced new data analytics workflow based on Jupyter notebooks, PyData, and Git, speeding up data analysis projects and allowing us to reuse metrics & computations across those.Together with the rest of the management team, I introduced OKRs for the company & my department.
