Laura Reilly

Hi, I'm Laura.

I am an Employment Lawyer and Chartered HR Director specialising in employment law, regularly up to date with HR trends and developing case law from a variety of sources. In 2020 I became a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, and have first-hand experience of how important practical solutions are within businesses. I am also an Associate Member of CILEx.

I work solely with businesses and do not do any type of Claimant work (work with employees of businesses).

My approach is to understand the end goal of each client, and tailor my advice by giving options - nothing is ever without risk, but I will explore solutions with you, drawing on many years of experience. My experience spans broadly across all people management topics, and I have specialist knowledge such as that of employment tribunals. I believe corporate social responsibility should be taken seriously and devote some of my free time to community work.

Much of my experience has been gained by working with small and medium businesses, but I have also advised and been an instrumental member of the HR leadership team within much larger national, and international organisations. I sit on a senior leadership team, and have been a Board member previously, so I understand challenges at a senior level.

When I am not busy with my growing family, and two dogs in the countryside, I sit on the disciplinary panel for England Netball, thankfully I don't get called upon often!

The work I undertake is fully insured and I work on a consultancy basis for clients directly, or as an associate for other HR consultants/legal firms/accountancy firms.
