I have extensive experience as a Data Scientist and as a Data Science Manager in a wide range of industries, including Telecommunications, Real Estate, Retail and Banking. I also have long-standing experience as an academic, working with and managing different Data Science, Quantitative Finance and Statistics research projects.

The greatest impact I consider I had in a prior role is that I created the Data Science and Analytics area of AI360. We developed a very accurate model for real estate property valuation that is used in almost all business aspects of the company. I had the role of leading the interaction with potential new clients and present them the Data Science products we created; this allowed me to attract very important clients like American Express and HSBC and sign working contracts with them.

I have taught the Financial Mathematics course at an undergraduate level for the las 5.5 years and the Quantitative Finance course at a master’s level during 1 semester at ITAM. I have working experience as a Risk Manager and knowledge of Valuation, Portfolio Theory and Derivatives.

Because of the above, I consider I’m an excellent candidate as a Data Scientist or Data Scientist Manager for any project that requires the creation of a data product that will answer a specific business question.
