Luke Hinds is a globally recognised cybersecurity and engineering leader with over two decades of experience driving security innovation across complex software ecosystems. As Co-founder and CTO of Stacklok, he brings deep C-suite experience, guiding company strategy and leading large, distributed engineering teams to build secure, production grade platforms.

Luke is the creator of Sigstore, a groundbreaking project that simplifies software supply chain security. Now widely adopted by industry leaders including Google, Meta, GitHub, JPMorgan Chase, and others, Sigstore has become a cornerstone of trust and transparency in modern software development.

Previously a Distinguished Engineer at Red Hat, Luke led strategic initiatives in confidential computing, supply chain integrity, and DevSecOps. He also spearheaded critical programs such as the Kubernetes vulnerability bug bounty and helped shape best practices in secure SDLC.

A founding member of the Open Source Security Foundation (OpenSSF), he has served on both its Technical Steering Committee and Governing Board. His open-source leadership includes projects like Keylime and codegate.ai, focused on security at the intersection of AI and code generation.
