The Public Investment Fund (PIF) has partnered with Stryber to create and operate a new Venture Studio in Saudi Arabia, aimed at building scalable technology ventures. The initial focus areas align with PIF’s Strategic Pillar Program, targeting Fintech, Consumer Goods, and Tourism & Leisure. In 2023, $14 million of capital was deployed, funding the first four startups.

I was responsible for building the studio from the ground up, growing it to a team of over 50 professionals, ideating more than 100 venture concepts, and developing a portfolio spanning both greenfield ventures and corporate carve-outs. Additionally, I played a key role in raising multi-million-dollar funding to support venture creation and scale.

Stryber is a leading corporate innovation and venture building company that combines the thinking of venture capital, start-ups, and strategy consulting to define successful innovation strategies and drive growth for its corporate clients by building strategic corporate ventures. Founded in 2016, Stryber is one of the largest independent corporate venture builders in Europe and has now expanded into the MENA and South Asia markets.

I began my journey at Stryber by developing a deep, hands-on understanding of venture building, and over time evolved into a key leader responsible for major mandates and a strategic contributor to the overall direction of the venture building team, both internally and with clients. My focus has been on large corporates and, later, global sovereign wealth funds, supporting them in shaping and executing impactful innovation and venture strategies.
