I have worked for Fitzpatrick Referrals Ltd for just over 13 years now, I have progressed from an Accounts Assistant through to IT Manager, Deputy Finance Manager and currently I am now the Finance Manager. I currently manage a team of six people, covering all the financial requirements of the business, ranging from credit control, insurance claims, accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end reporting, yearend reporting, sales forecasting, price change forecasting amongst other things.

During my time here I have learned and developed a range of new skills, including, but not limited to management accounts, leadership, customer service, project management and advanced excel knowledge.

I have implemented and managed new practice management systems, new procedures for credit control and new procedures and protocols for insurance claims. I have excellent IT skills in all the main packages available, including Microsoft Office (Excel skills include Pivot Tables, VBA and Macros) and the Adobe Creative Suite.

I have a wide range of experience using multiple veterinary practice management systems including Vet One, RoboVet, EasyVet to name a few. I am a very quick learner and can pick up new systems very quickly making me very adaptable to ever changing situations.

I like to think of myself as being very versatile and able to manage different situations very well, a quick learner, keen to learn new skills, but also to adapt and improve my current ones.
