As a Senior Advisory Consultant, I specialize in IT security, risk management, and compliance across industries like banking, insurance, and asset management. I conduct third-party risk assessments, security posture evaluations, and RFP reviews, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, NIS2, and GDPR. My role includes tracking cybersecurity compliance, drafting policies, documenting risks, and strengthening governance frameworks. I assist clients in developing RoPA, data breach policies, and compliance registers while supporting IT audits and risk mitigation strategies. Through hands-on follow-up, I help organizations enhance security controls, implement risk action plans, and continuously improve their cybersecurity resilience.

As a Research Assistant at the University of Antwerp’s Department of Management (2017–2021), I was responsible for data governance and analysis on Islamic banks across 15 countries. I gathered financial data, including balance sheets, performance indicators, and managerial details, while also compiling macroeconomic and regulatory characteristics of these countries. Using STATA, R, and Python, I conducted statistical analyses, econometric modeling, and data visualization to assess banking performance and risk factors. My role required strong organizational and managerial skills, coordinating with master’s and PhD students, ensuring data accuracy, and managing research timelines. I collaborated with academics and external institutions, enhancing my communication skills through regular presentations, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. Additionally, I contributed to academic publications, policy reports, and conferences, further developing my ability to synthesize complex information and present findings effectively.
