• Plan, effectively manage supplier selection to meet commodity strategy, quality, service, cost, risk mitigation and supplier capabilities requirements.

• Lead the function ensuring that the most competitive supply chain is always set-up in terms of cost / service / quality for any new project.

• Float Piping Packages inquiries to source materials from various Local and International Suppliers (i.e., Mills, Stockists & Traders).

• Evaluate supplier’s offers and strategize the sourcing by preparing cost comparison sheets (Workout sheets). Negotiate terms & conditions and contract with suppliers. Challenge Supplier prices based on raw-material costs and cost breakdowns

• Investigate procurement market, consolidate existing suppliers, identify favorable new sources, identify new technology, increase market transparency and optimize the future supply base.

• Monitoring all purchasing activities and design various cost-effective methods according to demands to meet the budget.

• Pre-qualification of Mills whenever needed.

• Lead negotiations for complex material purchases and analyze opportunities for cost savings.

• Facilitating resolutions for issues related to material purchases including vendor claims, performance and invoices.

• Negotiating and closing contracts by agreeing the commercial terms, Letter of credit (LC) or Order / agreements subject to positive rating by credit insurer and organization policies.

• Review customer Purchase orders, prepare sales contracts and Issuance of Purchase Orders to suppliers

• Raise RFQ’s to receive quotations from Freight Forwarders & finalizing the same for Import/Export Consignments

• Negotiate with shipping & Clearing agents. Handling the clearing process, Customs, Inwards delivery and receipt of material

• Co-ordinate with Vendor, freight forwarder & customer for safe and timely shipment of material as per agreed delivery terms

• Prepare shipping documents (Packing List, Shipping/commercial Invoice, Delivery Advice, HS Code sheet,) in inventive SAP System, Apply for Certificate of Origin at Dubai Chamber of commerce along with attested Packing List and Invoice. Provide Ex-1 document for European shipments to the clients.

• Interview & hire, oversee the training & provide guidance and support to the development of junior staff members.

• Follow up on new projects / business opportunities arising in the market, set up meetings and always be in search to add new clients of designated region & maintain existing key account customers relationships.

• Handle sales from point of inquiry to order processing, delivery, invoicing and receipt of payment.

• Prepare, submit quotations to the customers and follow up with them to receive regular feedbacks & secure the orders. Submit revised & alternative offers to client’s to be more competitive!

• Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing commercial terms, Letter of credit or Order / agreements subject to positive rating by credit insurer and organization policies.

• Took initiative & booked career’s first order for Aramco worth €200K and journey continued…
