- Slovenske Elektrarne, an Enel Group CompanyProject ManagerJune 2015 - June 2016 (1 year)SlovakiaAs project coordinator with Slovenske Elektarne, I was tasked with overseeing a team of 11 contractors with over 60M€ of contracts managed, responsible for all construction projects in all phases: planning, coordinating, and inspecting all phases through to completion. Within the role, I administered contracts for civil construction, classified and unclassified, for nuclear and conventional islands, including concreting activities (screeds, slab floors, openings), steel structures (plates fabrication and erection for technological contractors), hermetic liners and hermetic doors activities, special sewage activities and painting. Managing all contracts, I was responsible for all new amendments of contracts and for costing, estimating and planning projects, monitoring actual expenditure figures against project budgets. Additionally, I served as lead negotiator and decision maker representing the project director, initiating 5 new contracts for civil works, liaising between construction, procurement and project management departments. Through the renegotiation of prices and anticipating the issuance of 2 claims, I was able to save the corporation 1.3M€.
