- Jupiter Play & Leisure LtdSenior DesignerAugust 2020 - March 2022 (1 year and 7 months)Nottingham, UKTaking the lead on key projects, with a real strength for generating concepts based on client briefs. Worked through lockdown with a slimmed down team and continued to win projects. The highlight was winning the Poole Park Heritage Project worth £310,000. I worked through lockdown with the Local Authority project team to develop the design, using Teams for the first time as a communication tool. The project involved three individual sites tied together through a strong narrative and unique bespoke elements I generated through sketch-work and 3D Modelling. In this time I was awarded the Pro Landscape 30 under 30 award after being nominated by my team. My highlight within this role was being responsible for generating the concept behind the winning bid for the new multi-million pound playground at Butlin's Skegness. The idea of a play space designed around positive emotions which could be represented through colour and light was my own. We then spent a year developing the design with the Butlin's project team and in April 2023 SKYPARK was opened to the public.
