Hi! I’m a data analyst with hands-on experience in the fintech and lending space. I currently work at a startup that provides small loans (up to ₹50,000) across different customer segments—students, self-employed individuals, and salaried users. I work extensively with MySQL, Excel, and Databricks, analyzing user behavior, repayment trends, and credit performance to drive business decisions.

Here are a few impactful projects I’ve worked on:

Foreclosure Trend Analysis: I investigated a noticeable drop in early repayments (foreclosures) for our VIP loan product. By studying repayment patterns across different installments, I identified where the drop-off was happening and helped product and credit teams brainstorm ways to improve the user experience and incentives around early repayment.

Retention Campaign Evaluation: I built a cohort-based analysis to track how effective our reactivation and collection calls were. The analysis helped us understand user movement across delinquency buckets and how different outreach strategies were impacting repayment behavior.

FTB User Drop-off Analysis: To understand why some of our first-time borrowers (FTB) from January didn’t return for a second loan in February, I analyzed their credit bureau data for March. This gave us visibility into what kinds of credit products or lenders these users were engaging with outside our platform. We discovered patterns in loan enquiries, such as higher credit demand or interest in other loan types, which helped us shape our retention strategy. Based on these insights, we recommended adjustments to credit limits, product features, and targeting, aimed at winning these users back.

My core strengths are in user behavior analysis, retention strategy, cohort tracking, and turning raw data into business-ready insights. I enjoy solving real problems through data and making complex findings easy for teams to act on.
