Thomas Bristow

Hi, I’m Thomas Edward Bristow, a freelance 2D animator with over 25 years of experience working in advertising, independent media, and non-profit publicity. I specialize in Adobe Animate and have contributed to various projects ranging from TV advertisements and music videos to environmental campaigns.

I love the craft of animation and the art of creating motion from drawings. I not only enjoy the drawing but the art of movement on the screen. The ability to create whole little worlds and stories through 2D animation is something I relish, and is in large part a fascination that I have kept alive since childhood when I was drawing exciting scenes and watching Tom and Jerry. I enjoy collaborating with talented teams, and creating exciting and humorous visuals that engage audiences. When I’m not animating, I also enjoy drawing using traditional media and painting using Photoshop for my own pleasure.
