    I am currently working part-time (50%) in this innovative & agile Sustainable Luxury Fashion Start-Up directly with the 2 Co-Founders to help them in their growth phase through digital marketing activities & new partnerships. The brand is an e-commerce store selling sustainable luxury cactus leather bags and who created NFT collections to wear in the Metaverse as wearables.


    Marketing:

    • In charge of the definition, creation and execution of the whole (digital) marketing strategy (short-term & medium term mainly). Also involved in the whole Business Strategy through Business Model and Business Plan creation.

    • Using Growth Hacking techniques to raise brand awareness and increase sales.

    • Content marketing creation on LinkedIn and Twitter to raise brand awareness.

    • Use of Google analytics for measuring metrics and results.

    • Work in an Agile way through Notion for Project Management and Slack for Team communications. Partnerships/Business Development:

    • Attending events, meetups and tradeshows to promote the brand and increase sales, working with new brands for cross-collaborations and networking with VC funds for fund raising.

    • I helped display our bags through new partnerships in physical stores in Zurich and across Switzerland to increase volume of our sales.

    • Negotiation of contracts, volume of bags sold, margins and prices. Events:

    • We attended the New York Fashion Week (NYFW) on Feb 22 where our bags were worn by models during the show.

    • Interview with 3 American TV channels + with the Swiss TV during the NYFW. Video has been shown on TV in the Swiss news and demand for our bags increased by 15%.

    • I set up a Private Auction in 2 days in an Art Gallery in SoHO, NY, where we were the 1st sustainable fashion brand during the NYFW to held a Limited Collection NFTs physical Auction.

    • I did a presentation of the brand, our NFT project and the NFT/Blockchain/Metaverse industry as a whole.

    • Results: 5 NFTs sold directly during the auction with a selling price increase of 50%. 2 new collaborations to cross sell our bags with 2 Sustainable Fashion brands + 1 journalist interested in doing an interview with me on NFTs, increasing our brand visibility.

    NFT/Metaverse:

    • I helped creating and minting the first Limited NYFW Collection NFTs that we sold only during our Private Auction in SoHo + the process of setting up a MetaMask wallet + buying our NFTs through cryptocurrencies.

    • I am also currently helping on the creation of the new NFT collection that will be sold on OpenSea: we are currently in the minting process on the Polygon Blockchain and those NFTs will become wearables as soon as we enter Web3 in Q3, allowing more possibilities for decentralized sales. Choice of Metaverse is still TBD.

    Fund Raising:

    • Currently building a Pitch Deck to be able to pitch GaiaLeon to VC funds for SEED phase, Angel investors and start-ups providing Equity Tokenization.

    • Main efforts on defining Revenue Models, Go-To-Market Strategy and Traction slides.

    • Contacts of 70+ VC funds in EU, CH and the US. Aim is to get funded to take the next level for growth marketing activities and operations + getting company valuation.
